003 Rival As The Best Friend

    Ayase, one of witch Black Cat's best friends, is also her rival(though Black Cat doesn't think so). She knows much about Black Cat, includes those things which can embarrass Black Cat, such as:

    Black Cat is usually recognized as the most noble, cool and graceful lady. However, Ayase can't agree with it.

    As a white acolyte, Ayase ia always happy to know the hidden face of a witch. Noble, cool, graceful? What a joke. Do you know how Black Cat became a witch? Today sacred Ayase will show you the great witch Black Cat's top secret to you---

    "God bless you! Holy Telepathy!" Ayase has teleported the image of Black Cat's regenerating in her mind to everybody.

    "Oh, wait a second, how do you know that? Don't tell me that YOU WATCHED IT? YOU PEEPED AT ME? Oh my..." rose-cheeked Black Cat yells loudly.

    Though Ayase looks a bit narrow-minded, she is not such a bad girl. Actually she is very just and kind. Being a white acolyte, Ayase always tries her best to fight the evil and protect the people as she can. Besides her magic power and skill, she has special weapons: her blessed legs. Her left leg was blessed to be THE SACRED SWORD, it can be used to fight monsters and demons; her right leg was blessed to be THE HOLY CROSIER, it is used for protecting and healing good persons.

    One day several evil creatures invaded an elementary school. When Ayase found it, she rushed into and rescued a boy, then she planed to come back the field to fight and save more sufferers. However, Ayase had to prevent the boy to be attacked. She dismantled her right leg and leave it to him---

    "Terrible! I am scared! Wuuuu... (cry)"

    "Don't cry, a man should always be brave. Grab my right leg! It can protect you. Hold it and pray to the Lord sincerely, and it will generate a barrier for expelling devils."

    "Oh, than... thank you... But how about you? You also need it to protect yourself in fighting!"

    "Well, you're a nice boy . Don't worry about me, I'll be OKAY. I still have my left leg, it's enough for me to fight!"

    Let's talk more about Ayase!

    Ayase is such a brave and devotional girl. She waves the sword toward the enemy unhesitatingly. However, that's her left leg after all. It always got injured seriously in battle. Ayase often hugs it and cries bitterly on her bed in the middle night. She touches the scar caused by fight on her leg and feels anguished about that. But next day Ayase will forget it and vow to protecting people resolutely. That's Ayase, the Jeanne d'Arc of our era!

    The second one the true relationship between Ayase and Black Cat. Ayase feels uncomfortable about Black Cat because of her non-Christian surreal power. Ayase thinks that Black Cat's power comes from the evil side, it's irreverent. However, Ayase doesn't hate Black Cat at all. Black Cat is such a wonderful lady, and she always makes Ayase feel warm. They are the best friends, and they even can die for each other, religious cleavage can't separate their hearts.

    The third part describes a story of conflict of values. Diana and Ayase attends the same church, and Ayase likes her very much (well, not love between couples :P). Diana also likes Ayase, but after she saw how Ayase used her legs to kill monsters, Diana felt disgusted and told Ayase that. Ayase was so sad, she couldn't stand that Diana controverted her legs which she treasured. Ayase could be strong in fight, but her heart would be fragile if some one she valued despised her most sacred parts. Ayase decided to try again, she wanted Diana to accept her legs...

Supplement from DreadedOne131: How did Ayase get her blessed legs

    Ayase's legs were previously paralyzed in a car wreck or other accident. Which ruined her ambition to become a Little Sister of Charity(An order of holy nuns).

    A kind nun visited her and told offered her the ability to walk, if she would give her legs to Mary, Mother of God in her service. Ayase accepted, to everyone's surprise she regained the ability to walk. She ran about the hospital to thank the nun who healed her, but she was no where to be found.

    Her parents were elated, an enrolled her into a Catholic School where Ayase eagerly attended. When she saw a statue at the School of Our Lady of Grace, standing on top of the Devil, she realized the nun who helped her was The Virgin Mary.

    When she let her Priest and the Sister know of the miracle, they didn't know what to think of The Blessed Mother's strange request. How could only her legs be in the service of The Queen of Heaven?

    One day, a demon erupted out of a room when some of the girls where playing with a Ouija board. Her legs went to the attack as the demon tried to devour Ayase, smiting it. The Church decided she needed to be trained to be an exorcist, and a teacher was assigned to her.
