902 Devil Summoning
In Taoyundao, many people try to summon for different purposes, but only a few of them know the correct procedure. Here is an example of bad summoning procedure.
David had contracted to the great devil Lilith. Today he was bullied by his classmates, so he wanted to summon Lilith for avenging. However, he forgot that devils can only be summoned from the Hell, and this moment Lilith was going on a happy shopping in human world. The summoning spell worked in a wrong way---
Lilith was pulled back to the Hell by force. Because she had no time to create a regular transmitting hole, her body was dragged through random small space cracks part by part. The abstract meaning of the relations between her body parts was demolished. Again the summoning spell acted on Lilith for bringing her to David, but it couldn't find the devil Lilith since Lilith's parts had no relations with others. The spell could only bring many pieced Lilith to our earthliness. Due to the time delay, Lilith's torso wasn't recognized as Lilith, it was left in the Hell. Lilith's existence was spread from the Hell to earthliness.
This story gives me an idea....
回覆刪除David was actually David Mumbai, a student of Pakistani Descent who went to the same school Jack had once attended, before his Grand Father had pulled him out to teach him himself. David was the first person Jack encountered after he became Jack Cat. David became friends with Jack again, and began hanging around him. Jack learned from David the bullies that used to pick on David and he were still at the school, calling David "Moobs, Man Boobs, and D-Cups" because of his Gynecomastia. David wondered if Jack would use his new powers to punish the bullies, but Jack said he had to above that now and learn from Black Cat how to use his powers for good. David became angry with Jack and stormed off, but not before stealing what appeared to be a magic book from Black Cat's house (Mei Xian's Book?)
Reading the book at home, David learned that he could summon The Demon Queen Lilith using a spell from the book. Contacting Lilith, he set up a price and day to summon her. But Lilith wanted to be summoned at a specific time, and David accepted it. David was later beaten up and humiliated by the bullies he hated, and could no longer wait. He tried to force summon Lilith, but he didn't realize he had messed up the spell (Or if it was Mei Xian's book, the book itself was corrupted) and that she was already on the Earthly Plane. A disaster ensued where Lilith was instead pulled into Hell, at several places at once, and arrived in Hell in disembodied pieces. David not realizing what he had done, summoned her again, only to have some of the inert pieces of Lilith arrive in his room. David, horrified at what had happened, hid the pieces away hoping no one would find them.
In Hell, Lilith grumbled about the idiot child that reduced her to only a torso, which eventually got back to Alexander Satan through the Imp Information Chain. Alexander learned that Lilith was trying to send someone to find her missing pieces, to look for them on the Island of Taoyundao. Alexander realized someone inexperienced must have made this mistake with a very powerful spell book, so he suspected it was Jack Cat. He sent one of Snake General to investigate...
David opens a cooler in the shed behind his house, surprised to see that Lilith's parts had decayed. "Ssso! You are the one who messed up the summoning of Lilith!" The Snake General spoke to David. "No! I didn't mean too to mess it up! Please don't hurt me!" David begged him. The Snake General communicated telepathically with Alexander, and replied to David "Why did you summon Lilith?" "Please Mister Snake Demon sir! I only meant to gain power from her to put my enemies under my feet!", David pleaded to him. "You have all the power you need to destroy your enemies right here! Did you know if you replace your body parts with a demon's, you become a demon?" The Snake General explained. "Really! Show me how!" David said in excitement.
Alexander was listening in on the conversation, when one of his Snake Generals asked why he didn't take Lilith's powerful body pieces for himself. Alexander explained if he was caught with them, he would be put in the lowest part of Hell. However if he can convince David to use the pieces to become a demon, he would convince him to attack Jack Cat. The Snake General replied, "But the boy is like a tiny tank of gas on a flame thrower, he'll burn out if he fights Jack Cat" Alexander grinned and evil smile, "Exactly, won't it corrupt Jack Cat to know he caused his friend to burn out fighting him?"
Interesting story! There are some points I want to discuss:
刪除1. Mei-Xian's book is actually absorbed in to herself, it's a part of Mei-Xian's existence. So, David's book shall be another one.
2. I think that let Lilith's ego to be spread out over the two worlds with her separated parts will be more interesting. If you use a part of Lilith, you're just using a portion of her ego. Lilith still has consciousness, a very complicated consciousness. This setting will give Lilith to fight against herself some day-- if her parts were converted to be possessed by different guys.
3. David is not brave enough! It's his chance to possess a powerful demon! The contract is failed (it can't recognize the pieced Lilith) since the original Lilith doesn't exist now, David shall try his best to find some way to occupy or make use of those Lilith's parts in from of him. David shall be more ambitious.
4.Lilith's torso needs a substitute head thing to act on it. That fake head will provide information and instructions to command the torso, but it's driven by Lilith's heart. Sure the head thing can influence Lilith a lot, so maybe some demons will volunteer to be it.
1. Okay, it's not Mei-Xian's book. But it could be a book Jack Cat got out to find out more about Alexander Satan, as this could be after he defeats the Demon General who was corrupting Alisa.
刪除2. Okay, each part of Lillith is a different Lillith. Read 4 to see my ideas on that.
3. David is told by the General he could just cut off his leg and replace it with Lillith's to start the process of becoming a demon. But David is too much of a Big Chicken and can't stand pain. But he remembers that his idol, the magician Kirinrin has a magical blade she uses to really swap the lower bodies of volunteers in her magic. He vows to steal it.
4. My idea for the Taoyundao Universe, Demons and Devils don't naturally have bodies. They build them up from the humans that make contracts with them to give their souls to them after death. That conforms with Western Christian Tradition that Demons and Devils have no bodies as they are spirits, and with Western Legend that Demons and Devils want souls. My idea, they want the souls to make a soul of their own to own their bodies. This would also go with Buddhist thought, that the most evil men become demons in the afterlife. Perhaps Demons would take souls of the most evil so that they would gain the evil personalities of these terrible people.
So Lillith might already have some parts for herself lying around from Humans who made contracts with her in the past. All humans who make a contract with Lillith or any other Devil/Demon get into communion with that Spirit. So they become more of a forced collective rather than a whole body. This explains why Lillith could be broken up into two demons.
And to add what I would like to happen...
David steals Kirinrin's blade, and uses it to merge himself with Lilith's parts becoming the succubus queen David Lilith. He then kidnaps Kirinrin and bounds her magically in a way she cannot escape. So Jack Cat comes out to fight David Lilith.
That idea is interesting and can explain the difference between spirits and souls. Spirits do not have clear personalities and identities, right? They act like spiritual super computers, and they need souls to provide them the software.
刪除Right, Spirits do not have clear personalities. That's why Yokai are always usually vengeful. Why Furies of Greek Mythology pursued murders relentlessly. Why Demons inhabit abandoned human structures till someone diviner summons them.
刪除Why Alexander is so ambitious is he once was part of the world conqueror, Alexander The Great. It's Alexander's ambition that has infected the Imp strongly and why he seeks to be more than an imp. Alexander's Soul imprinted a strong sense of ambition in him.
Another idea that I have is that David Lillith might have this form when he becomes a Succubus Queen. He could be called Devilman Lady, as this character was originally called. Perhaps David, if we decide to could become an ally of Black Cat. Let me know what you think. It could even lead to him fighting the Original Lilith.

Devil Lady is an attractive idea, but we need some cool bad guys, so I think let her to be one who acts for satisfying her desires is better than being an ally of Black Cat. She is usually neutral, though sometimes she can fight, or collaborate with Black Cat. It depends on the event.
刪除Is it a good idea letting David's head and legs fused with Lilith's parts? Such that, the new Devil Lady's torso(with arms) will be her weakness. Furthermore, she even may view the torso as her stain.
How about this, Devil Lady is Jack Cat's Doctor Doom!

My idea
David was Jack's friend before he became Jack Cat, they bonded because Jack was an awesome Cosplayer and David wanted to learn to be as good as Jack. David convinced Jack that his fine bone structure would be better suited to Crossplay(Dressing up as characters of the opposite sex as your own). Thanks to David's money, Jack's crossplays of characters such as Samus Aran(Meteroid), Faye Valentine(Cowboy Beebop), and Lacus Clyne(Gundam Seed) won David and himself several best couples costume. However David had an ulterior motive, as winning the couples competition, he gained more interest from competing female cosplayers who wanted to steal him away from Jack. However David let the "Cat Out Of The Bag" to a female crossplay he was seeing that Jack was actually another boy he paid to compete as his partner in Cosplay. Jack was persecuted at conventions for daring to violate the "Romantic Couples Only" clause of the Couples Competition. David too dropped out of the conventions, but quietly. When asked later by his friends why he had Jack as his Couples partner, he claimed Jack had manipulated him and was really a sexual deviant.
It was this accusation of Jack being a pervert, that led to Jack's eventual persecution at his school and his dropping out to learn from his Grandfather. This also led to Jack meeting Black Cat. David continued to go to school, but his backstabbing ways made Jack's former bullies go after David instead. When Jack Cat rescued David from some bullies, David learned of Jack's new magical abilities and wanted to learn them for his own. But Black Cat didn't like David, he reminded her too much of her former false friend, The Black Witch Tamura. Black Cat banned David from her house after several items, including a magic book went missing. Which led to the events of which David tried summoning Lilith.
My little view into David's head
David came from a rich Pakistani family that taught their children to step on the heads of those weaker than you, and if had a use for someone, use them. But be sure to screw them out of anything, because only you deserve it as you saw the potential they were wasting. David doesn't really have any friends. He buys things for people he wants to collaborate on a project with, but really he will let them go if it's inconvenient for him. He will not suffer for anyone but himself. David doesn't come off this cold to those who meet him at first, as he's mastered the art of remembering names, faces, and what people like. But he can't keep any friends because they realize what a self centered weirdo he is. The only person who tried to be David's friend in spite of this was Jack, who kinda felt sorry for such a lonely person. But David took this that Jack was weak minded or worse; attracted to men.

David can't stand Jack now that he's more powerful than he is. David's main desire now as Devil Lady is to show he's superior to Jack in everyway. He looks down on Jack because of his humble poor background, his weakness of sacrificing for his friends, and his supposed homosexuality (David is a homophobic bigot, despite being turned into a Succubus. He prefers to refer to himself in male pronouns despite being a demon woman now.). But Jack can't understand why his friend turned out this way, and blames himself for David's transformation into the evil Devil Lady, and David enjoys making him feel guilty for that. But Black Cat sees David for what he is, an evil manipulator, and hates him more than most of their enemies. But she holds back on completely destroying him for Jack's sake. Devil Lady however will ally with Black Cat and Jack if they have a common enemy, and it's in their best interests to defeat that enemy.

One more idea, what if Devil Lady and Tamura end up with each other. Then they together could be the Archenemies of Jack and Black Cat?
IMO, since Devil Lady looks such cool, maybe let her be a really cool character is not bad.
回覆刪除If so, David Lilith can act more freely instead of concentrating on revenging. She is so evil and proud, and sometimes she may ignore others, including her previous rivals, just because she can't get anything from them now. If she wants to attack or set up somebody, she does it for her ambitiousness. Lilith is a grand demon, so maybe let Devil Lady act like a grand badass is more cool. She is truly bad,serves for her own desires.

Your plot is also pretty interesting. I am also considering how to let Tamura come back.
I like your ideas of David Lilith not obsessing on Jack. Maybe after he becomes Devil Lady, he thinks he's already superior to Jack and doesn't need to bother with him. She just needs to become the top Witch Demon on Taoyundao, and defeating Jack is just a perk. However if she starts dating Tamura, Tamura might push David into opposing Black Cat or helping Black Cat's enemies.
回覆刪除We already discussed bringing Tamura back. Alexander Satan will bring her back from Hell after Black Cat's powers prove to much for him and his forces. He will attach Tamura's disembodied head to a Super Witch Demon Body he is building. But really he want's to absorb Tamura's mystical might and has a plan to subsume Tamura into the Witch Body so he can use it to destroy Black Cat himself. But maybe something stops Alexander's plan to betray and destroy Tamura?
That's right, Devil Lady shall be a cruel and evil character with good taste ;)
刪除Tamura had very strong personality, she will not compromise if Alexander Satan wants to command her though he gives Tamura the new body. How about let Tamura's head become merely a device without soul? Her brain still stores destructive magical spells. If our Alex can use Tamura's soulless head like using a computer, he will have a super warrior.
Or let Alex cheats Tamura. Tamura's personality is not completed, she doesn't know Alex actually takes control over her: new Tamura thinks she does what she wants to do, but that's in fact Alex wants her to do.
How about this? Tamura's head was purchased from a devil after Alexander found out how much Black Cat lamented of destroying her. However Alexander found out that Tamura's soul was missing from her head (it's in Tamuma being rehabilitated!) But that made Alex alter his plan. After building a powerful new body for the head, Alex left his other constructed body to enter into Tamura's new one.
刪除Black Cat was taken by surprise as Tamura seemed to have escaped from Hell and remembered everything of her former life as she tried to destroy Black Cat. Jack Cat and Black Cat joined forces with all her friends and fought the Magical Juggernaut that Tamura had become. Mei Xian eventually realized as she was helping in the fight, that Tamura had no soul, only a Spirit. A spirit her own imp recognized as the imp Rumpelstiltskin. Mei Xian used the Imp's name to command it, but Alexander resisted saying he wasn't Rumpelstiltskin anymore. Black Cat sensed Tamura's head was still connected to Tamuma and used that connection to bring the head back to life. Tamura drove Alexander from her body in fury as she hated being used as a weapon by him. Ayase used her Holy Telepathy to open a portal to Hell and pulled a screaming Alexander back into it.
Tamura stopped fighting with the others for a moment as she realized she did not pick the time and the place to fight Black Cat. And all of Black Cat's friends where there to fight Tamura, but Black Cat offered her a chance to repent her crimes and come to learn from them to be good. But Tamura wasn't ready to give up her ambitions for power, so she told Black Cat there would be another time and place for them to discuss this as she escaped.
Meanwhile in Hell, Alexander slowly starts building up a body for himself again...
Usually Mei-Xian doesn't fight As a philosphical Taoist, she likes to let things go naturally and smoothly. But no problem! You can create stories from your viewpoint about those characters! ;) Our Taoyundao needs different ideas and viewpoints, such that we can enjoy as much creativity as we can, as we shall have ^^
刪除I have a different idea! What if it's the Mirror Devil or a Mirror Devil that tips Black Cat off? Tamura stands near the mirror and sees that instead of Tamura's head she sees it's Alexander's face revealing it's actually the demon imp possessing her friend? Let me know your ideas, we haven't really begun writing this :P

刪除Alexander is possessing Tamura's head. The Magic Mirror reveals it's not Tamura, but Alexander using Tamura's head to control his Super Body.

回覆刪除My thinking is that he might kidnap the witches, as they are all experts to some degree on Natural Body Magic, despite their failed experiments. He might not want their parts so much as find a way to replace his inferior torso with better more impervious, maybe demon parts to become a full demon.

Maybe he can "hide" his original torso by combing it with parts from loser witches? Before he finally finds his ultimate torso, he still can take loser witch's torso to replace his original torso in battle cuz it's disposable.
刪除The assembled witch's mission only is keeping his torso in safe. She can control the motions of David's torso, but she can't influence David's heart. The heart of the replacement torso can't do anything, this torso is only used to provide magic energy and motions (magic skills and spells are provided by Lilith's head).
Do you think Akio is a good "face claim" for David? I was also thinking of trying to use a much more ordinary face for his form before his transformation.
