201 Dark Witch Yumeko And Her Subordinate(s)
Yumeko was an evil witch. She was defeated by miko Sakura (refer to http://taoyundao.blogspot.tw/2014/05/creating-her-own-god-to-worship-latest.html ) when she infiltrated the city Hanahara on Taoyundao, and then she disguised herself as a high school girl to hide. She captured another girl Nina, and imposed magic on her. Yumeko fused black magic relics with Nina's separated body parts, and transformed them as her servants.Nina's head was renamed as Nini, she can talk to Yumeko and detect the pursuers. Nina's body was renamed as Nana, she can receive Yumeko's ideas and instructions directly and take actions automatically. Because of Nini and Nana's efforts, Yumeko's evil personality became more soft and warm. Some subtle feelings began to breed in her heart...

I think this character would make a wonderful reluctant ally for Black Cat. Maybe she evens helps her?

And, I will like Yumeko to be an emigrant of African descent. I find we don't have black people in Taoyundao yet (Lina isn't). We must have one!
How about we have it where Yumeko is of African American descent (Yumeko Perkins is her real name). Her father, Franklin Perkins, is an African American who was in the United States Navy when he was stationed on Okinawa and became crazily obsessed with Japan. He is the Police Chief of China Grove, Texas and carries Samurai sword as his side arm. Yumeko left America to learn at a school for Oriental Witches after a friend of her fathers recommended she go there. Her father doesn't know that Yumeko was kicked out of the school for trying to practice the darker arts. She instead moved to Taoyundao and tried to make a name for herself as a dark witch, calling herself The Dark Witch. However she was defeated by Miko Sakura and had to go into hiding....
回覆刪除Continuing after your story, The Green Knight(Ron Rockford) and Yumeko Perkins become friends because they are both Texans and understand each other better than they do their other friends on Taoyundao. It's Yumeko, in the storyline I am planning "Obeah Your Body", who realizes when Ron tells her that Jack and Ayase are hunting down Mary LaMobolo, they are chasing the wrong person. Yumeko explains that she thinks Bouncy Bee, the Pop Singer that the Obeah Mary LaMobolo is after, might be a Boo Hag. She explains that the Boo Hag is an undead Obeah that steals the bodies of others and sucks out their life force till they are reduced to a sack of skin. Yumeko realizes that Bouncy Bee is actually a Boo Hag, and that Jack and Ayase are going to destroy the wrong witch!
Later, we might do a series on China Grove as this city where ever Amercian living there is obsessed with emulating The Orient. So keep that in mind if you like this twist for Yumeko. And the father obsessed with Japan, I actually knew someone like that! He would clean his Samurai sword in front of you when you came to visit his daughter :P

This version is better! I think Yumeko needs time to accumulate ability as a dark witch, so she is actually 40~50 years old, though she looks so young.

Haha! That would mean Yumeko was probably a young teen when the song, China Grove, was a hit for the Doobie Brothers! Perhaps Yumeko was one of The Doobie Brother's Groupies(Female fans that hang around with the band)?
刪除Also I had an Mary LaMobolo is also very old, she was a Jamaican Slave who lived through Obeah Magic to over 200 years old. Originally I was going to have be a young teen, but your ideas that she self disassembles and shares her body with a Duppie(Zombie Spirit) goes much better with the idea she is very old.
Yeah. We won't believe it if Yumeko is 17 years old, and she had learned advanced dark magic, skilled at deformation, then she invaded Taoyundao, haha.

刪除She plays bad just because she thinks it's cool since her childhood (or she might be bullied because her dark skin), but she is not naturally evil (though she announces that).
Yumeko uses her magical power to keep her body cells vivid, her cells degrade very very slowly. You can say her magic power is healthy XD (She still has evil magical skills)
If Yumeko was 17 back in 1973, that would mean she had been born in 1956, the very start of the Afro-American Civil Rights Movement in the United States. It would be interesting if she faced bullying for her dark skin and might lead to one of two attitudes
刪除1. She might have a James Brown attitude towards "White People" They can't be trusted. Thought Brown did personally stop a Race Riot from happening in Boston, he had a very negative perception of Anglo Americans due to poor treatment he received from them when he was young. Then Yumeko lives on Taoyundao probably because of it's low population of people of Anglo Saxon Descent.
2. I find this more likely, as I grew a minority in the United States, she doesn't like to be singled out for being a Black Woman. In the United States, there is a high demand of conformity of political and social opinions among the Social Movement Leaders of each race. Usually Leftist Politicians are preferred as there is a prevailing fear that if enough Right Wing Politicians take over the government, they will work to demote and undermine the minority races to serve the needs of the perceived racist Anglo Saxon Minority in the United States. Yumeko being a witch, might see all this need for conformity as a sign as she doesn't really fit in with the Afro American Community at large and might live on Taoyundao so she doesn't have to fit to any Social Conformations decided by her racial leaders and can go be what ever she wants to be instead. Yumeko might be evil simply because she chafes at being anyone's "Role Model" She lives life for kicks and doesn't care what others think.
Also Yumeko might also be fiercely proud of her race. Some Witch might offer to sell her a White or Asian Body as a beauty upgrade, but Yumeko would become fiercely insulted. This also explains why Yumeko chose to make Nina into her servants Nini and Nana, rather than taking the body of some other girl on Taoyundao to hide out in Nina's identity. Yumeko thinks she's very cute and won't body swap, so disparaging her looks might make her very angry.
I also prefer 2. Yumeko not only doesn't trust white people, she basically doesn't trust anyone. She is evil just because she chose to be, but her heart isn't that cruel. Living with Nini & Nana, her heart undergoes softening step by step, now she can't kill people easily (she had).
