002 Black Cat's Legendary Mother

    Black Cat's mother is the former legendary Taoist, Li Mei-Xian(李 梅仙). Mei-Xian met a French mighty wizard twenty years ago. They fell in love with each other, and Mei-Xian became pregnant with Black Cat two years later. During the time, Mei-Xian learned about the knowledge of Western magic from her lover. As a Taoist, she always felt free in learning and using skills and spells from other religions.

    After Black Cat's birth, Mei-Xian's lover became a Catholic later, and he brought her to the church. Mei-Xian even accepted to be baptized and let her lover to sacrifice her unholy magic power center(her torso) to the God. However, Mei-Xian's center was rejected, and her lover found that such a high-level xian(celestial Taoist) couldn't be converted into a true Christian at all. He was depressed ad angry at Mei-Xian, then he trashed(change the intrinsic nature of a being to be meaningless by casting spell to curse it) Mei-Xian's torso and left.

    Mei-Xian was not sad about that. She considered it as her opportune destiny in reaching the Way. Mei-Xian reconstructed the abstract meaning of the existence of her center, and she included the properties of being a baptized Christian and a Western witch into herself. Mei-Xian's existence was raised to a ultra-high level, and the meaning of her was extremely expended. Finally Mei-Xian became a unthinkable beings.

    Mei-Xian let Black Cat to be independent when she was young. As the most legendary mother of the world, Mei-Xian wanted her daughter to reach her way on her own.

    Today Mei-Xian is going to try scaring spells recorded in a demoniac book on herself. What will happen to Mei-Xian? We shall see ;)

I am what I am as well as I am not

    The situation was really bad. The remained part of Mei-Xian's body was controlled by a magic circle on her neck cast by the dark magic book she held in hands, and her head and left leg were transferred to an alien space, a demon was waiting for her there. In fact, that dark magic book was the demon's reincarnation in this world. The demon seized the ownership of Mei-Xian's left leg, then he destroyed Mei-Xian's head. At this point, Mei-Xian could be considered as killed technically.

    However, Mei-Xian won't be dead. Her remaining Taoistic right leg was manipulated to separate it self from her controlled body, then the Christian property of her torso was activted. The magic circle on her neck lost the effect to control that torso because it could only control Mei-Xian's torso. Mei-Xian's torso had ever been devoted to the Christian God. When this fact was activated, the magic circle could not get Mei-Xian's torso to control.

    A virtual crucifix incarnated on the center of Mei-Xian's neck. With holy aura, the torso started to reverse the previous demoniac spell. Mei-Xian's destroyed head and robbed left leg were transferred back to this world with the demon together. The demon was trapped by the contradiction of that it and it's reincarnation both existed in the same world.

    Mei-Xian's Taoistic right leg used Tai-Chi to turn round the status of her left leg with the demon. Tai-Chi can turn negative to positive, so the fact of "the demon owns Mei-Xian's left leg" was turned into "Mei-Xian's left leg owns the demon". Then Mei-Xian's right leg continued to turn her destroyed head to be unharmed.

    Mei-Xian's regained left leg was manipulated to cast a magic circle toward the demon. The demon's existence as compressed, and then brought into Mei-Xian. Such that the demon was Mei-Xian's left leg's possession, it would not affect Mei-Xian a bit as a new fraction of Mei-Xian.

    Now, Mei-Xian seems that she is going to achieve a triumph even her head isn't totally recovered. So, who let she win? Who manipulated her parts to fight back?

To Love and To Betray

    Here I will tell you how the girl Mei-Ling became the lady Mei-Xian.

    When Mei-Xian was named Mei-Ling, she was so-called genius. She learned the Taoism so fast, and she could cast many difficult spells. Many people worshiped her as their honorable teacher. Furthermore, Mei-Ling became a xian(Taoistic celestial being, or demigod) at just eleven years old. Everyone believed that she had reached the Way even she was still a little girl. She was the legend.

    However, Mei-Ling wasn't so much convinced about that. As times went by, she doubted herself more and more. Yes, she indeed understood the Way and could speak a lot about it, but she couldn't truly sense it. Being a genius, Mei-Ling didn't experience her life as a ordinary human enough. She didn't get happy enough, didn't go mad enough, didn't cry sadly enough, and the most important, Mei-Ling didn't love someone enough. Her mind was too perfect, and her heart was too pure, so that herself couldn't be changed anymore. Her appearance stopped to evolve, as well as her personality. Even when she became older than everyone, she was still a young girl.

    Mei-Ling was eager to change the situation. She knew that she had to break her own perfection and pureness. She found a hasndsome guy-- the French wizard she met. Mei-Ling knew this guy was very loose, but she didn't mind it. After all, she had lived so long, ho could she be hurt by a littlt boy(compare to Mei-Ling)?

    However, Mei-Ling was totally wrong. Every time when that guy told his love to her, Mei-Ling got so happy; and soon her heart would be broken into pieces when she found her lover dated another girl.

    Mei-ling didn't express her sadness, but that guy could feel it gradually. He didn't mind that at first, but his conscience had been blamed time by time. One night when Mei-Ling fell asleep, he inspected Mei-Ling's heart by using his magic skill, and he as shocked.

    Sadness, infinite sadness. Mei-Ling's sad emotions flowed to him, his heart almost couldn't bear. He also felt Mei-Ling's endless love on him. The wizard felt so guilty. He ran out crazily and cried. Finally, he stopped in front of a statue-- the statue of the Saint Mary...

    That's the beginning of the lady Mei-Xian instead of girl Mei-Ling came to the stage.

    

    Here Mei-Xian lets her left leg prepare for preventing the demon to cause a disturbance as a part of Mei-Xian. Mei-Xian will lose her head for a while ( her head even will be sent into the demon's reincarnation!), the demon has the probability to cause a big trouble. Mei-Xian's left leg effectively owns the demon even when it has became a part of Mei-Xian.

    Take Mei-Xian as a company. She let the demon enter the board of directors, and the chairman leaves for a while. However, the demon is actually a robot and owned by the chairman's son, another director. The demon is a bad guy, but he was programmed to obey his owner's will XD

    The image of Mei-Xian's ego will turn to Mei-Ling hen she is in curious mode. She is that little girl now. 

    BTW, 梅 means "plum blossom", and 仙 is xian. So Mei-Xian is "the xian of plum blossom", it's a perfect name for a graceful lady. For comparison, 莓 means "strawberry" and 鈴 means "little bell", both are cute things and fit the little girl well.
