    This is the sad story about Chun-Xiang's and Yong-Chun's love. They just enjoyed their happiness together for a few years, but no love can be more shining than theirs.

    Chun-Xiang was expelled from the Taoist Huang family when she was 16 years old, then she wandered over the entire Taoyundao island for salvaging sorrowful supernatural beings with her black embroidered hair shoes for two years. At 18 years old, she met Li Yong-Chun, her future husband. Yong-Chun brought Chun-Xiang to the Taoist Li family. There, the surname Li was bestowed upon Chun-Xiang instead of her deprived surname, Huang. Later, Yong-Chun fell in love with Chun-Xiang and married her. Being a member of the Li family, the Li's surreal power should protect Chun-Xiang and heal her wounds. She could be thoroughly recovered theoretically.

    However, Chun-Xiang wasn't truly "a Li" at all.

    Though Chun-Xiang's spiritual constitution was much more similar to the Li's than the Huang's, she was formed in the Huang family after all. Her body, her physical constitution and her magical nature belonged to the Huang family. The Huang's blood flooded her entire self. The property of the Huang family repelled spiritual power from the Li family since the Huang's nature was pretty exclusive. The Li's power could protect Chun-Xiang from outside attacks, but Chun-Xiang's internal still belonged to Huang and couldn't be helped by the Li's power.

    When Chun-Xiang had learned the skill of inner watching (內觀) from Yong-Chun, she applied the skill on observing her inner self. She saw that despite her head recognized herself as a member of the Li family, her body rejected. Her body became blank when she set herself as Li Chun-Xiang. The karma she bore for those deplorable surreal beings still gnawed her internal.

    Chun-Xiang understood that she wouldn't live long.

    The Oumae family often lures new members for joining the family. A comprehensive performance test will be applied to anyone whom has been brought to the Oumae family's main house first time.

    Today, Kise Shiho(黄瀨 志保) decides to join the Oumae family. She is such a common girl and has no advantage or achievement, so she wants to abandon her original identity and become Oumae Shiho (黄前 志保). After she has been converted, her performance test starts.

    Shiho's head and body has been separated. Her head has been enchanted with the special magic that can transform her head into magical virtual being, and an artificial ghost comes to guide her head-monster to do other test. On the other hand, her headless body is being tested for finding Shiho's performance limits. A magical item is sending instructions to her body to order her body to cast magics as much as it can at the same time. Surprisingly, Shiho's body is pretty mighty. It's capable of casting different magics with each of her limbs. She can be a magic genius! Shiho really has the reason to be proud of herself; she shall not be self-abased indeed.

    However, it's too late. Self-confidence is totally meaningless for Shiho now. As a member of the Oumae family, Shiho's body and her belong to the family, not herself. There is no private honor.

    It's somehow a pity if she can find her true potential, Shiho thinks. And she won't think in such way later...

    Izumi is an magical android. Several years ago, her creator left Taoyundao and let her to live alone. Later, Izumi attended the National Taoyundao University and made friend with Subaru there.

    Subaru is really a nice guy. He is gentle, handsome and smart, and Izumi knows that Subaru likes her. Izumi also reasonably wants herself to be his girlfriend, but she can't make it straight and easily-- Izumi's heart isn't owned by her.

    Unlike humans, Izumi is an magical android after all. Among Izumi's parts including brain and heart, there exists her system core for managing Izumi's parts and Izumi itself as a system. Izumi's brain and heart won't do that job, they just deal with Izumi's external affairs.

    Izumi's creator made her system core an organic interface. The interface is emotionless, but it can think. It also takes the responsibility for guiding and protecting Izumi by interfering in Izumi's system operating. For example, it will hinder Izumi's head from bringing her heart to love Subaru because Izumi's creator set it to make sure that Izumi will concentrate herself on studying in the university. Izumi has tried many times, but every time she is always defeated by her system core.

    Today Izumi gets an idea. She askes Subaru for pretending to rehearse a new play with her. The drama is based on a romantic love story. Izumi's head thinks that this time she can raise up her heart's enthusiasm without activating her core's automatic defense mechanism. It seems that things go smoothly. Soon the story comes to it's climax, and Izumi has the chance to say "I love you" to Subaru. " Oh, look at me. I love youuu---Wow! Bibibi!!!"

    What a pity, Izumi's core still responds to her plot. It disconnects Izumi's heart from her brain, and it's interface comes out from the cross section of Izumi's neck. The interface starts to collect information about the object that almost gets Izumi's heart. That "object", Subaru, is so speechless. Followed by a short silence, he just can say hello to the interface.

    Izumi's head is looking the sky without any emotion. You can't cheat yourself after all, Izumi thinks.

    Rousoku obake (candle monster,  蝋燭お化け) is the most heartwarming monster. It was transformed from the candle. It's flame is very gentle and never hurts anyone. On the contrary, the light emitted from it's flame will warm and heal broken hearts. Rousoku obake may fly to you if you are grieved.

    Rousoku obake doesn't need other body parts like head and lower half, it just needs it's chest for store it's tender and emotional heart. It also has arms for embracing sad ones. Because rousoku obake has no brain, it knows nothing about prejudice and discrimination; it only can love. It will burn itself just for your sake and asks for nothing in return. Please cherish rousoku obake if you meet it.

    Maria is a Philippine Taoyundaonian, and she is also a flying-head monster. One day, she found a dying tiny monster, Labo. Labo lost her "root" such that she couldn't sustain her own life. Maria wanted to save Labo, she "took off" from her body and suggested that Labo could "implant" herself to Maria's headless body for getting nutrition and magical energy to survive. However, Labo rejected that suggestion because the nature of Labo's body would make her to encroach Maria's headless body. If so, though Maria still can feel her body, it will be controlled by Labo.

    " You're really a kind girl, and I appreciate your kindness, but that's unfair for you and your body," Labo said, " I will rather die if I have to rob your headless body, thank you, Maria."

    " Oh, no, not like that," Maria said, " Labo, I am a flying-head monster, and I prefer to fly! However, when my head is flying alone, no one can take care of my body. The lack of attention my kill my headless body, then kill me! So, I need a partner. Will you like to live with me? We can share our life and benefit each other!"

    " Well, since you say that, it will be my pleasure for living with you."

    The two monsters finally became one :)

    Huang Bee-Wei (黃 碧薇) is a mahou shoujo, and she also has a boyfriend, Li Yun-Tien. Yun-Tien knows his lover's secret, but he still has been shocked because of Bee-Wei's truth many times. This is an example.

    One day, Yun-Tien was going to have a date with Bee-Wei at 15:00. Yun-Tien was preparing himself for the date happily in his room. " Yun-Tien, help..." Suddenly he heard Bei-Wei's voice. He turned around to see what had been happened. " Hi, my dear... WOW!!! OH MY GOD!!!"

    At the window, Yun-Tien saw his lover whom was disassembled into several pieces, and every piece was trying to cross the window. " Way too horrible even you are my beloved girl! Hey! Bee-Wei, why do you scare me?"

    " I, more precisely, Bee-Wei didn't plan to scare you on purpose. She had transformed herself into the mahou shoujo for fighting an evil wizard. It was really a harsh battle. Despite Bee-Wei finally won and eliminated the wizard, she also had been disintegrated into several entities. It's just Bee-Wei's head speaking, not Bee-Wei. The magical wand, as Bee-Wei's contract for being a mahou shoujo, is administrating Bee-Wei's separated parts. Bee-Wei will be rebuilt again, but it takes time." Bee-Wei's head told Yun-Tien the story.

    " I understand. However, why do you come to me? Shall not you rest in Bee-Wei's house peacefully without any disturbing factors for recovering?" Yun-Tien asked.

    " Because it's time for you and Bee-Wei's date. I am not Bee-Wei, but we are Bee-Wei, the girl who loves you. You see this cute one-piece dress and classic lady shoes, we have already prepared the best Bee-Wei for you. Bee-Wei won't miss the date with you at any rate, so do we!"
