166c Ayase & Ichimu: Aragaki Or Oumae (03)

    Back to several days ago. The Order got the information about an outpost of the Oumae family, and soon they organized an assault team. They attacked the site and cleared up it, then they found Oumae Ichimu's disassembled body there. Her parts was undergoing reset for acting another person, Hwang Young Bi (黃英妃), a Korean lady. She would be set as the mate of an important leader of an Influential Korean church. Her head was receiving settings of new identity when the assault team got her.

    Ayase's body parts reacted with Ichimu's while she was tried her best to keep herself as Aragaki. She also felt sad since she knew how powerful her mother was, and she got controlled by others so easily. The Order let the Divine Guitarist be in charge of Ichimu's body. She studied Ichimu's body for realizing the internal operating of it. Later, she got the way for manipulating Ichimu's body parts. The Divine Guitarist modified Ichimu's Catholic faith of her heart to let it blame itself. She "taught" Ichimu's heart the "correct" Catholic belief instead of the Oumae's version such that it would listen to her. Ichimu's head got lost between the two identities of Oumae Ichimu and Hwang Young Bi, like a pale face built on an broken robot.

    Way too depressing for Ayase to see that. However, she couldn't do anything but sustaining her fake existence barely. The Order already knew Ayase's situation, but they didn't discover the truth to her before they could seize Ichimu for preventing Ichimu to take back her daughter. They couldn't take the risk of losing such an elite exorcist. The whole team went back to their base with captured Oumae body parts and Ayase. They also helped Ayase to suppress her Oumae constituents.

    Ayase woke up in the next morning. Members of the Order just disintegrated Ichimu's body for analyzing it. Ayase walked to them and asked them to hand her mother's head and heart to her. She brought those parts to a bench and sat down.

    Ayase looked at her mother's deactivated head and heart sadly. She even couldn't judge that she was Aragaki Ayase or Oumae Ayase at that time since "her Oumae" was still trying to resonate with Ichimu's deactivated parts. Ayase stretch out her hands to touch Ichimu's face, and she felt just like that her hands told her they wanted to leave her and go to the Ichimu's side.

    " I... I have to face my mother, face myself, and... face my Ou... Oumae..." Ayase murmured.
